Fibre optic cable adaptors.?

I have a gaming chair that i use with my PS3, it has built in speakers and it connects to my TV with the standard white and red audio cables, but i recently bought a new LCD tv but the only audio output is by fibre optic cable. Is it possible to get an adaptor that will connect my white and red cables to the fibre optic connection on my TV?

I've played about 6 games online but I have no idea how to locate my stats for my online games that I've played ! I'm wanting to know how many points per game I'm averaging and how many points have are being scored against me !

I'd also like to know how many passing yards and td passes I've thrown for as well as rushing yards, sacks, ints etc etc etc !

Should I buy a secondhand XBOX with 20 games?

My local gameshop is selling a secondhand XBOX (the predecessor to the XBOX 360) with around 20 odd games (stuff like GTA, Vex, Prince of Persia, Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks), 2 controllers and a memory card for around $200. I currently also own a PS2 with around 20 titles. What do you guys think? Should I go for it or rather save up for a more modern (360/PS3) console?

PSP or Nintendo DS, Which is Better ?

I think the PSP is better because There's less kiddy games and they've got Some PS3 titles.
Such as Medal of honor, Star ocean, Motorstorm, LittleBigPlanet, Twisted Metal, Final Fantasy, Resistance, etc.
Plus crisper graphics than the DS and a bigger screen.

With DS, the screens are small. You need a pen to play some games. The games they have are childish - like making cakes, making pizza's, or making whatever in a kitchen games.
The only good games for DS are the Mario games, and Call of Duty.
I'll admit some of the features on the DSI are pretty cool too.

I have the original 1st generation 60 GB PS3, the one with full hardware backwards compatibility, and when I turn it on, it reaches the swirling line background, but nothing else appears. The indicator light on the console is green and does not flash red or yellow. I've been trying to search for an answer but I can't find anything regarding this. I thought maybe the PS3 is not detecting the HDD or the HDD needs to be replaced but I don't want to spend the money on a new HDD until I am certain. Please help. Thank you!

okay every time i try to load a disc game like mafia 2,lbp or fallout 3 game of the year (all disks are in decent condition maybe one scratch) the ps3 starts to load them then it says something along the lines of start operation failed with some numbers under or it will have the screen go black then nothing happens... near the spot where you insert the disk it is kind of hot.... any help will be appreciated!
oh and i can still play downloadable games they still load and are playable

My company is having an event built around High Definition. What are some good video games?

The theme of this year's event is high-definition. My coworker is responsible for setting all of this up, and he knows that I play video games because I have talked about play Halo 3 a lot. I used to play a lot more games, but I wouldn't consider myself knowledgeable about what games look best in HD.

They are going to have an Xbox 360, a Wii, and a PS3. He said he doesn't need help with kids games, but he wants some ideas for adult games. He has to entertain 350 people and we've only come down to 2 games so far: Halo 3:ODST and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (on the PS3). He wants something where people can compete against each other that will be fun for adults. (He told me he has to WOW 350 people in a 3 hour time span and this includes some of our vendors, our customers, and other people within the company).

Please let me know of some other good HD games and any other suggestions for an event like this that you can think of!! Extra info: they are going to have a mock casino like deal (with card tables, etc) and then they will have Avatar 3D playing on a big screen, so it's like a big deal event all about HD and competition (the video games kind of applies to both).
Chaos Punk - ODST comes with the multiplayer for Halo 3, including all maps. We picked ODST for the Firefight and for the multiplayer for Halo 3.

It was such a system that everyone that is a gamer loved it truly, and I still play it to this day.

I know it was/is possible to run backup games without any modification but this doesn't make they would be broke, or so Sony PS2 would be cancelled (and so PSP, PS3 and Nintendo's and Microsoft's systems).

PS3 has stopped recognising my external HDD?

I have always used 2 external HDD on my ps3 (one with mains power and the other gets powered by USB), both are in the fat32 format and I have never had a problem with either. I use one to store movies and one for music. The last few months I have not been able to access these drives from the PS3 yet the computer will pick them up. They won't even show up on the XMB anymore and I don't remember making any changes other than the usual firmware upgrades. Has this been removed at all? Is there any way to fix this as I have enjoyed using my PS3 as my media centre for a long time. I can plug in a USB pendrive and it will work. Any help will be greatly appreciated, I miss my music :(
Hi thanks for answering. I have checked on the computer and it works fine. In disk managment it says it is FAT32 and it had worked on the PS3 previously for about a year. Might have to try reformating them just don't get how they would both stop working at the same time.

Obviously 2010 is better, because it's an updated version and I tried it myself.

But the 2009 edition I would like to know if it's so inferior to the 2010.

The graphics on UFC 2010 are impressive, the body & blood is so realistic I was amazed.
