What would most games be like if they where PS3 only games?
I know that most games that are crossed system (360 and PS3) are better for the 360 because they are made for the 360 then ported to the PS3. The comparison is a game that uses 100% of the 360's technology uses about 25-30% of the PS3's technology. Also games that are "PS3 only" use between 80-100% of the PS3's technology. Wouldn't that mean that if all games where made only for the PS3 they would be awesome because they can use so much better technology and have so much mor space to work with?Pytanie #5:
What's the difference between a board game and an electronic game?
I developed a board game which is on it's way to get patented. The question came because lots of people are like, "oh but you gotta be careful" because, now days people just don't play board games anymore because playing board games is not like it was and now with the technology and all the home consoles such as xbox360,ps3,psp, nds, nintendo, PC, iphone apps, etc... are taking over. (Of course I'm aware of this but I didn't cared and made my game). So what do you think.

Can I plug my surround sound speakers into my tv?
Hi, I have a Samsung DVD surround sound system and TV which I bought as a package about 18 months ago. My DVD player has recently started playing up and I don't have an extended warranty and can't afford a new one. Is there any way I can:1. Connect the speakers to the tv, perhaps by buying another cable and routing it through the DVD player, so that we can get surround sound on the TV?
2. Perhaps connect through the PS3 (or the X-box - can I even watch DVD's on the X-box?!?!), so I can still have SS on films?
I've read loads of stuff on the internet and am sure this must be possible. HOWEVER, I'm baffled by technology and have NO CLUE what I'm doing. I wouldn't know my RFs from my RCAs, so if anyone can dumb it down enough to explain to a complete thicko , I'd be extremely grateful. Thanks in advance :)

What is better: creative fatal1ty hs-1000 or creative sound blaster arena?
I am looking for a usb gaming headset that will be able to handle listening to metal, and playing games like COD or combat arms. I would also like the headset to work for talking on the PS3 (not needed for normal sound output).I am looking at the creative hs-1000 and sound blaster arena shown here:

and
The concern that I had with the hs-1000 was that the microphone cannot swivel up alongside the headphones, it must come completely off. Also, I was not able to find definitive reviews that said it had great audio. (I need great bass without making the high tones too muddy).
My concern with the arena however, was that I found 2 reviews that said it's integrated sound card is incompatible with approximately 40% of PC games, so you can only play in stereo, as opposed to surround sound. Some reviews also mentioned that they were somewhat flimsy.
What is the better headset of the two? I am looking for the best sound quality with the use of surround sound for fps games.
BTW, do not suggest another headset in the 100-150 dollar range. I am only looking at these because they are both lowered to 50 bucks on amazon (from their normal 120-150 range).

Input/Game Lag LCD for MW2 - Panasonic Viera?
I am in the process of returning this tv Click HereI'm doing this because i wanted an lcd for gaming. This tv plays blu-rays amazing but cannot play video games at all. When you try to play a game such as MW2>PS3>direct HDMI there is terribly bad TV lag. Nothing to do with internet, its when you play anything offline or online, when you move you thumbsticks your guy does not move as you control. Its a delay, so it makes it impossible to play. This is with all the 240hz technology turned off, it may help a bit, but still unplayable. Now i'm trying to find a tv that will not have game lag, like one tv that we have which is an older vizio 37in 60hz 1080i.
The tv i am looking at now is (same tv, just a best buy link and newegg link)

Does anyone have this tv or witnessed whether or not it has game lag. I'm trying to find a 40-42in tv under $800 to play MW2 PS3 with no lag. Most reviews on tvs i look at dont review gaming, if it has lag or not more specifically mw2.
Thanks
Thanks Percy, thats the kind of feedback i like to see. I did look into that Model. Ok people please consider this tv along with the Pansonic

Pytanie #14:
Do you need to be rich to have an IT career, due to all the gadgets out there?
I don't mean wealthy, but at least have some disposable income. It used to be if you had a desktop at home, you're up to date with technology. Now you're supposed to have an iPhone, iPad, Blackberry, Android, PS3, XBox, and so on, plus your laptop which gets old after a few years.
The problem is, what if you can't buy toys? Say you graduated with a computer science degree, and are unemployed. And someone tells you to keep up to date, and suggests making Android apps as a personal development project. But you can't even afford a cell phone plan, let alone a smartphone. Maybe you still have a laptop but everyone thinks you're an old fart for only having one.
A lot of careers involve technology, but only in CS/IT do you need to own the technology yourself, and have to constantly program in your free time. So if you're the unemployed graduate, what do you do?
Maybe the reason programming/software careers tend to make a good amount of money is because those people don't come from low income backgrounds, and economic background is correlated with career success.

Should I get a Samsung LED OR LCD, when the LED has a worse response time?
LED is the better technology so I want the LED, but the LCD has a better response time - what is more important?I can get a 32 inch Samsung LED for $600 OR a 32 inch Samsung LCD for $500 (Canadian dollars which is similar to US).
The specs are similar except the LED has an 8ms response time while the LCD has a 6ms response time.
The contrast ratios are also different, 2,000,000 : 1 for the LED and 40,000 : 1 for the LCD (this seems like a huge difference - I don't understand this).
The TV is for my PS3 and 360.
Thanks for any advice.

Should I upgrade my graphics card, get a new laptop, or a PS3?
I know that many games are the same on the PS3 and the PC, which is why I'm wondering what course of action to take. My current computer specs are as labeled directly on my computer:AMD Turion X2 dual-core mobile technology RM70 (2.0 GHz, 1 MB L2 cache)
Up to 1408MB ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics HyperMemory
3GB DDR2
15.4" WXGA Acer CrystalBrite LCD (8ms/220-nit)
320GB HDD
DVD-Super Multi DL
Its an Acer Aspire 5530 with Windows Vista 32-bit. I know its not exactly a gaming PC, but I was wondering if I should see if its possible to upgrade the graphics card, get an entirely new laptop, or just get a PS3. I do use my laptop for mobility, so, I'm not sure. If you could please help, I would appreciate it so much.
EDIT: Actually, its more for Resident Evil 5, but even then I use a gamepad. I thought if I could make it work on my current PC, then I could just buy the game and not have to extend my budget to hundreds, but after all this, I think'd it be worth it to get a PS3. I just gotta think of other games other than RE 5 that I wanna play. XD Thanks!

we just got an HDTV and there's those black bars?
we went to Galen's and bought an HDTV and an HDMI cable...and we hooked up our PS3 to it. but there's black bars ALL the time...not just with movies. why? is it the type of technology it's using?...it's a Sony Trinitron.Pytanie #19:
Everything's just so dull.?
Nope, nothing.Idk, I like being on the computer, but I just do it to escape real life.
Real life isn't that bad at all, actually, I'm rich, I'm well-educated, I'm probably going to end up with a great job that pays a lot, but... It just feels boring and empty.
I even got tired of being on the computer, so I went down and played the PS3 and Xboxon my projector screen, it's like, I have everything, but I feel dead inside.
My grades are very high, I'm fluent in 4 languages, but I've never dated, or been interested in anyone, even though some were interested in me.
It's not like I'm fat, or something, I'm 6'1, 19, I look good and I have a deep voice and all that, but Idk what it's good for anymore.
And if I died, I'd probably not have over 2 people at my funeral, I'd guess like 1, which would be my brother.
I speak 4 fluent languages, and that's about it... I used to like badminton, but that just bores me now, I used to play football and basket too.
I still gym once in a while but that's just to get in shape in case there's work at home needed to be done.
What's the meaning of life? I don't know what to do.
My future will possibly be like... I'll live in an apartment, I'll have no friends, no girlfriend, no paintings on the walls, just a latest-technology home, and I'll probably collect guns...
My death? Dying from too much smoking hookah, probably, or age, I don't even smoke.

What is a suitable job for me? I'm confused, i want to have a job or business where i can enjoy what i do!?
Hi folks, I am a mechanical Engineer (diploma), 30/M, Married, 2 kids (one is 2yrs & other 1mth) i have a lot of interest in technology, I am crazy about cars, i am very good with computer software (video editing, audio editing, Imaging), an avid gamer (PS2,PS3,PC), Very good in MS Excel too.Presently I'm working as a Planning/Scheduling Engineer, also partly carrying out Control Activities. I don't find the job interesting. Also i have just enrolled for a course in QMS Auditor/Lead Auditor to add up to my resume.
I do not know what would be an ideal job for me. I do have an option of starting my own business, but again don't know what to start. Financially i am a little stable to start my business. Before i started working for this company, i ran a cybercafe and didn't make much profit.
a little advice would be helpful.

Help with purchasing a new pc?
Here's the deal. I have an old Acer Pc which is not at all worth an upgrade and an HP laptop which i wont be able to upgrade(i mean graphics and processor). i am able to play games that are a year old on the laptop but it produces too much heat which i think is not good so i stopped gaming on it. Should i buy a new PC because technology upgrade never ends and my laptop is just 2 years old. Another thing to consider is that i am going to singapore next month and i have heard that this stuff is pretty cheap there. I could buy spares off cheaply and get it assembled here.i have another option of buying a ps3 but i want a new pc for my school work too. i work on c++ and am programming something large which both the PCs aren't able to handle fast. And yea i am lookin something around these specs:
intel i5 760
nvidia geforce gtx 460 1Gig
750 gig hard drive
6 gb ram
compitible sli motherboard for future upgrades.
I am a moderate gamer and i want to buy somethin i should not need a upgrade for 1-2 years and upgradable in future.
make your suggestions of buyin a new pc or should i stick with the present one right now and wait for about 6 months?
if you think i should buy a new one what should i do in the situation. i have some knowledge about hardware but i am not a pro...
Thanks in advance....

PS3???????????????????
The problem did not start off this bad, my ps3 did not read games but after a while of ejecting and re-inserting the game it would eventually work. But now it is very rare if my ps3 reads games.I have called sony and they told me that i must format the ps3. But many have claimed that, that does not help the problem.
What do u suggest i should do?
What do u think the problem is?
How can i solve it?
This problem is becoming really stressful. I cannot concentrate on anything other than getting this problem solved. I may sound mental but look at us humans we thrive off technology.

How do I connect my specific laptop to my specific TV?
I am about to get a Dell Studio 1458, and I have a 19 inch Magnavox TV I plan on connecting it to.My TV has these ports:
(Side AV is taken, HDMI is taken, so I just have component and VGA input)
The Studio 14 has a VGA port and an HDMI port, however I cannot use the HDMI because my PS3 (connected via HDMI) is already connected to my TV and I don't want to switch them constantly. I'd preferably like to use the VGA port, but from my reading it only supports 800 x 600 and I'd like to run my laptop at 1366 x 768 resolution (which my TV supports as well). How would I accomplish this?
I am planning on using this set up to run a few "demanding" casual games (Like Portal and Team Fortress 2) so I can have a larger screen but still have a portable machine. So I need HD video and sound in whatever I do.
PS: I am not the most tech savvy person in the world but I do know quite a bit about technology. Thanks :)

Best headset to hear foot steps and durable for COD MW2 for ps3?
I already bought the turtle beaches p21 and I couldn't hear the foot steps 2 well only when they were right next to me and it would always be 2 late. It took me forever to figure out how to get the laptop to get onto the internet. And I still haven't figured out how to get onto Nintendo Wifi because of all the things I need to enter into my DS.
Does it come with like a cord you can hook into a phone jack or something?

Wireless Internet/PS3 help please?
First off: I AM A TECHNOLOGY N00B. Be nice please ;__;okay, I'm not entirely sure that I have it in the first place, but when people come to my house with laptops, they say it works 37%-ish, so I'm assuming that I do?
Anyway, it's kind of hard to explain the floor plan of my house, but my computer is on the third floor and my PS3 is on the first floor. When I have my PS3 do a scan for internet, it usually comes up empty. (However, my PSP detects the internet, but somehow it doesn't work either.)
Do I actually have wireless internet? And if I do, how do I hook it up to my Playstation? I'm willing to buy cords n' stuff, but not drill a hole through the ceiling xD

What is so special about the new 3D TV's?
If your familiar with 3D technology, you might have the same question as mine. What is so special about the new 3D tv's. They run at over 120Hz, which most new HDTV already do. So what is so special about them? To me it sounds a lot like a marketing scheme. This type of technology been around for some time. Nvidia has what its called the 3D vision which can take any LCD monitor with a refresh rate of 120Hz and allow you to play PC games in 3D, with the help of battery powered shutter glasses. So I went to best buy today and asked the specialist, what is the main difference between this new 3D TV and this regular LCD? Both run at 120Hz. His answer was a chip inside the 3D tv that the regular does not have. What does the Chip do exactly? He answers it creates a 3D image o_O? Ohh really? From what it seams all you really need is a TV with a refresh rate of 120Hz or more, a 3D DVD player, or a PS3, A pair of $129 shutter glasses and you too can view movies and play games in 3D. Now just note that not all movies are filmed to be viewed in 3D, nor all games can be played in 3D. Movies have to be filmed with special cameras that have two lenses, and games and animations have to be rendered in two different angles. If you know anything about 3D please leave an answer.

Pytanie #39:
How do you view the world and what it's coming to be?
People complain about their kids being chubby and inactive and just staying on electronic devices all day. It's an issue in our world right now. Including the Money crisis and the Oil thing. If people keep complaining about all of this, why do they still do it? People keep developing more technology and kids are buying them,of course, and using them all day. Like PS3 And Xbox360 and shit. Not to mention Cell phones and stuff.Im kinda glad that i will be dead in 100 years. I think the worlds gonna end up to be over populated and have to deal with crisis after crisis, disaster after disaster, and war after war. The world could end up to be a living hell.
Whats your opinion?
Pytanie #40:
Basics of Computer Programming are?
I don't know crap about computer programming, other than keyboard shortcuts. So hypothetically speaking, if I was on a university of technology, what would be the most basic way or the introduction of what professors would tell me into explaining computer programming? Right now im just an anti social WoW player, but I'd like to create mmo or ps3 games when I grow up. Give me an answer that will give me a fresh start on this journey :)Pytanie #41:
Need a great FUN PS3 game?
I really need a new PS3 game, but I dont necessarily want a "Good" game like in terms of graphics and pushing the technology boundaries, but just a great FUN action game where you just feel excited and great playing it. I've got a few games but none of them are really instant fun, but more good games. What would be your recommendations?Pytanie #42:

Pytanie #43:
When is the PS4 or Xbox 720 coming out.?
I own a PS3 and love it. I'm thinking of buying another one for the family room. However, a Ps3 with all the accessories and games it can be expensive. Hoping to avoid buying obsolete technology when do the new systems come out? I play online a lot and my favorite games are FPS ( COD: MW2), Madded, Mlb the Show, Heavy Rain ( games like that)Pytanie #44:
Which is better U.S or Canada?
I've been given two plant manager position offers one in Toronto moving from Vancouver B.C and another in Seattle Washington. The one in Seattle pays a bit more. I'm 29 years old and not married so no kids.-In B.C it is mostly raining it's like rain province compared to U,S which gets more sun
-we get a lot of social services compared to U,S and great healthcare but I hear U.S is trying to reform.
-compared to U.S Canada has more friendly people and a better international reputation
- There is a lot more green here compared to U.S and nature beauty
- we don't get American services like Direct TV HD which i want which has all the HD Channels i want that i can't have here, Hulu.
-we get the latest electronic technology later than U.S like I pad, I touch, new desktops laptops, HDTV's ,PS3 etc which cost more here when they are released. I'm a total techno nerd XD so those are really important to me.
U.S has the biggest media factory with all my favourite shows and channels in HD that i can't get here like Spike and Disney HD
-U.S is more luxurious and has more places to go like Hollywood, disneyland, Universal, malibu etc in California which i always wanted to go.
So which do you think is better U.S or Canada
Pytanie #45:
I can't decide which is better American or Canada?
I have just been given two managerial positionsmy offered Pay in America is a bit more than here and i have to choose whether to go to America or stay in Canada. All i know about America is from what I see on T.V and what people tell me-In B.C Canada it is mostly raining it's "rain province" and is usually really cold.
-However there are a lot of social services and great health care
- People in Canada are also very friendly and have a great international reputation compared to U.S- - there is more green here but we don't get American services like Direct TV HD and Hulu which i really want and technology electronics from best buy cost more and we get those models later than U.S like PS3, I PAD, newest Desktops and Laptops etc. I am a total techno nerd XD so those are important to me.
-In U.S i know life is more Luxurious with all those places to go like Hollywood and Univesal Studios, Disney etc in California and gets more sun than here.
- There is less green there
-There is less social services and there health care is not that good but they are trying to reform it
-But i can get the latest technology cheaper than what i pay for here and I can get all the services I want like Direct TV HD and Hulu
- U.S is the biggest media factory with the best shows and channels i want like Disney HD and Spike HD
So which one do you think is better living in Canada or America
Job offers plant manager for a factory in Toronto Canada moving from B.C
And plant manager for a factory in Seattle Washington

I have A LOT of video game systems such PSP ,PSPGo ,DSi , DSi XL , Ps1 , Ps3 , Wii , Gameboy, Gamecube. But I want something NEW for the year 2010.Pytanie #48:
LCD, LED or Plasma TV for gaming?
Hi there - I know this is a question which has been asked many times but as technology advances I suspect the likely answer to this will reflect this. I currently own a 40' Samsung LCD which is faulty and Is due to be replaced. I have a budget of up to £800. I am a big gamer so PS3 and 360 in HD is a must. I also have Sky HD so all of this would need to be taken into account (min 3x HDMI ports). I would be willing to increase in screen size to 50' but only if there is no compromise in image quality, although I have been happy with 40'. All thoughts and opinions as to which technology, as well as recommended brands, best suits my needs would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance...Pytanie #49:
